Owner Brenda Barfield purchased the long-established Shorewood Pub after retiring from a 20-year career in dentistry, fulfilling a longtime dream of owning a restaurant and bar. In honoring the legacy of the business and its longtime former owners, Brenda brought back the original Shorewood Pub name while adding "Tito's" to make it her own. Tito's is named after Brenda's beloved Yorkie puppy, Tito. Though he's small in size, Tito has a big personality and an even bigger place in Brenda's heart, making him the perfect namesake for the business.
Originally established in 1973, Tito's Shorewood Pub continues to be a staple in the Detroit Lakes community. Its convenient location and outstanding redemption value make it a popular destination for both regular customers and first-time visitors.
When it comes to the menu, Tito's is best known for its hand-pattied Angus burgers, broasted chicken dinners, wood-fired pizzas, and massive nachos. Guests also look forward to the rotating daily specials, which have recently featured chef-inspired creations like Fettuccine Alfredo, Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwiches, and Poutine Smash Burgers.
