$30 For Two Tickets to Frankenstein at Theatre B ($60 Value)

Details

Frankenstein is a haunting, fast-moving play about creation, abandonment, and the responsibility we have for the lives we shape.

In Nick Dear’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s novel, Victor Frankenstein brings a Creature into the world, then recoils from what he has made. Innocent and bewildered, the Creature seeks connection but encounters rejection and cruelty. When he turns back toward his creator, the question becomes harder to answer: Who is the monster?

The production brings the story’s gothic world to life while asking questions that feel close to our own time. What happens when our ability to create moves faster than our understanding of the consequences? What do we owe a life once we have brought it into the world?

Directed by Matthew Dryburgh, Frankenstein features Sam Schotzko as the Creature and Alex Kleven as Victor Frankenstein, alongside Whitney McClain, Keith Schweigert, Kate Folkestad, Jeff Rondeau, Drew Relling, and Cora Clark. It closes Halloween weekend.
