After 15 wonderful years as Ferguson Books and More, the beloved local bookstore is turning the page—debuting a fresh new name and a new home. Now located inside Daily’s Market at 216 Broadway, the shop has been reimagined as Fergie’s Bookshops—a fitting new title for a familiar favorite.
Owner Ferguson says the move brings renewed energy, much-needed visibility, and a steady flow of foot traffic. But the partnership with Daily’s Market is more than just sharing a space—it’s a true collaboration. The two businesses are teaming up on staffing, cross-promotion, and product synergy.
“There are a lot of cool, niche gift items you can find,” Ferguson explained. “You can browse books one minute and discover unique gifts the next — perfect for holiday shopping or finding that special something for someone on your list.”
The rebrand to Fergie’s Bookshops reflects the store’s ongoing evolution while staying true to its roots, fostering community, literacy, and local connection. With the new tagline “Small shops, big hearts,” the emphasis is on intimacy, warmth, and the spirit of local business.
Despite the new look and location, customers will still find the same charm and carefully curated selection they’ve come to love.
