Whether you're a lifelong aviation enthusiast or just looking for a fun family outing, the Fargo Air Museum offers an unforgettable experience. Home to two massive hangars filled with historic and modern aircraft, you'll see everything from a Wright Brothers' Flyer replica to military aircraft and the MQ-1 Predator drone. What makes the museum truly unique? Many of the aircraft are still airworthy, so you might even catch one taking to the skies during your visit.
Since opening in 2001, the nonprofit Fargo Air Museum has been dedicated to promoting aviation through education, preservation, and restoration. Explore rotating exhibits, military history displays, aviation artifacts, and one of the Midwest's largest aviation libraries. Families will also enjoy interactive experiences like the kids' play area, paper airplane station, custom WWII-style dog tags, and audio tours that bring the exhibits to life.
Located at 1609 19th Avenue North, directly across from the FARGODOME, the museum also hosts educational camps, special events, private rentals, and group tours throughout the year. Every visit helps support youth aviation programs, veterans initiatives, and the preservation of aviation history.
